Based in Breakish on the Isle of Skye Donald MacSween is a Part II RIBA Architect. His architectural practice was established in 2011 and is committed to providing good quality affordable architecture. A strong background in new build domestic projects and renovation ensures this is the main workload of the practice.  In addition common workload includes Title Plans, Croft Plans, Survey Plans, Survey Reports, Percolation & Drainage Specifications. Previous experience includes Public Sector Building Projects (NHS), Commercial, Listed Buildings,  Feasibility Studies,  Land Surveying/ Management.

The current climate means affordability is key to ensure projects proceed and are built as this is the core interest of both Practice and the Client.  Understanding the future cost implications of initial scheme design is critical. The increasing sustainable, structural & civil requirements all have a cost implication on any new build. Providing a comprehensive and detailed architectural service ensures built projects meet with client expectations.  Many new commissions come from recommendations or repeat clients. The Practice prides itself on attention to detail.   Many bespoke built projects and several projects under construction ensures a strong working relationships with both Highland Council Planning, Building Control  & Private sector companies.
